Wendell's cousin's woods
on the ridge above the Kentucky River,
in May 2002.
There was good
attendance at this event and it was co-sponsored
by local banks, co-operative extension
and the
community members.
As anyone
that is interested in issues of living
gently on the land will know, Wendell
Berry is an inspiration. We hope to expand
this event next year to include the site
to be an actual harvesting
operation on a larger scale. The horses
used in this demonstration were Wendell's
Percheron's operated by his son.
