HHFF President interviewed on Virginia Tech Radio
Hello Friends of HHFF,
Andy Morikawa hosts the radio show “Talk around the Table” that originates from the campus of Virginia Tech. Being a long time member of this community Andy has deep connections within the community. I worked for Andy as a VISTA Volunteer back in the late seventies and have enjoyed his friendship through the years, although not as closely as we may have liked. Both of us have been busy contributing to our communities in our own ways and I admire his work and efforts. So having an hour talk with Andy was a true pleasure for me and hopefully will help our organization be better understood by more folks in our community. We invite you to listen to this interview live or streaming from their website in the near future.
Also on Friday the 10th of September - HHFF and Southern Draft Animal Days will be featured on RFD-TV on the Rural Heritage Show, check your TV guide for local listings. This is film shot by Joe Mischka, (editor Rural Heritage Magazine), in the forest at last years (09) Restorative Forestry Demonstration.

Hello Friends of HHFF,

Just a short note to mention that HHFF will be featured today on the Rural Heritage Show on RDF-TV, (Channel 231 on Dish and 379 on Directv). This will be the logging segment filmed at last years Southern Draft Animal Days in Tennessee.

This year the event will be held in Virginia at the Blue Ridge Institute at Ferrum College. Let us know what you think. I have not seen this video either so it will be interesting to watch.
